Dhruv: Ethereum’s white paper states that they use a modified version of the GHOST protocol in which the base block reward is split up between the main block and the “stale” blocks, but the “stale” blocks do not receive any of the transaction fees. So it’s probably safe to assume that we only accept the transactions that have been committed in the main block.
