Professor Frank Partnoy from Berkeley Law will speak to Vice Chancellors Glasscock and David about the Court of Chancery and their respective careers. Sam Glasscock retired in January 2025 after he served as a Vice Chancellor since 2011 and as Master in Chancery for twelve years before that. He also had a distinguished career in practice. Bonnie David served as a Magistrate in the Court of Chancery for two years before she succeeded Vice Chancellor Glasscock in January. Vice Chancellor David had practiced at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and clerked for Vice Chancellor Glasscock, who was her mentor.
